Stairway to the Sky Palace is an innovative architectural project located on "Brigada VIII" Street, in the former Block area of Tirana. This structure features a combination of two to five stories, with three levels of underground parking. The design is linear, characterized by dominant glass facades that seamlessly integrate with the existing urban fabric of the area, creating a cohesive aesthetic. This architectural approach facilitates the development of a recreational courtyard between the garden space and the southern section of the building.

The project's layout offers a blend of public and semi-private spaces. While the main street will host entirely public activities and services accessible to all, the southern courtyard area will feature a mix of semi-private and public engagements within the block. The ground floor boasts a height of 4.39 meters and provides service access along the entire perimeter from "Brigada VIII" Street. The second floor is also dedicated to services, with shops designed to provide visibility from both the street and the courtyard, utilizing transparent volumes and predominately glass facades.

Natural light and ventilation are prioritized in the spaces due to the southern orientation, along with a functional layout that separates daytime and nighttime areas. The stairwell environments are illuminated and ventilated naturally, offering generous functional spaces.

Vakefi contributed to this project by providing Ultra Clear SN70S 10mm glass, enhancing the building's modern look while ensuring high clarity and light transmission. This choice of glass not only adds to the aesthetic appeal but also meets performance standards for energy efficiency.
